IMA TEAMPRODUCT DESIGN · 2023–24

ONE APP FOR THE WHOLE CLUB.

Clubs were running on group texts, spreadsheets and word of mouth. IMA Team puts the organization, its calendar and its chats in one place. We designed the app end to end.

IMA TEAM — project overview
01 · Walk the flow

Five tabs. The organisation is the root.

Organisations hold groups, groups hold people, and flashes announce what is happening. The other tabs all read from that structure.

01 · Organizations — Flashes, groups and fans per organisation.
02 · Discover — Find an organisation and join it.
03 · Calendar — Month view with event markers.
04 · Event details — Dual time zones, priority and recurrence.
05 · Create event — A long form, kept scannable.
06 · Group chat — Photos, reactions and voice notes.
02 · The calls that mattered

Leaders, co-leaders and fans. One interface.

01

Roles add controls

Everyone sees the same organisation card. The badge changes and a Start button appears; nobody learns two layouts.

02

Both time zones, visible

Clubs travel and fans do not. Event details prints both zones instead of silently converting them.

03

The unhappy paths matter

No organisation, no chats, failed messages, pending uploads and disabled RSVPs received the same attention as the happy path.

03 · The system

Primitives. Tokens. Then screens.

04 · Outcome

From first flows to both stores.

Two years on the same product, from early UX through iOS review to release. The work included store assets and review screens, not just in-app UI.

01

Five connected surfaces

Organisations, calendar, chats, updates and profile designed for both platforms.

02

A real component library

Primitives, spacing, radius and shadow scales kept on a dedicated style-guide page.

03

A complete handoff

Review screens and launch assets prepared as part of the same design pass.

The result

Two years on the same product, from first flows through iOS review to release. Teams coordinate in one place now instead of four group chats.

IMA Team is the client. The six screen captures show the shipped app as documented in the original portfolio. Organisations and people shown are accounts within that product.
